A large crowd of people sits on white plastic chairs facing a raised stage with red drapes and framed portraits. Seated figures in front are mostly seen from behind, wearing white shirts, pale kurtas and saris; some women wear orange and pink. Bunting flags hang along the left side and lights illuminate the tent.2007-01-12December 31 20082008-12-31August 11 20092009-08-11August 25 20092009-08-25A large white-canopied tent filled with rows of seated devotees on plastic chairs, mostly in red and white, on a red and green floor covering. At the far end a small stage shows a decorated backdrop and a central dais with a figure in white standing beside an ornate seat. Black speakers flank the tent and blue banners hang along the sides. Many attendees wear saris in orange, pink and yellow, and some men wear white shirts and dhotis. The scene resembles a satsang or discourse gathering.2008-12-31A photograph of a large outdoor pandal hall decorated with red, yellow and purple striped fabric and marigold garlands strung along the canopy. Rows of blue plastic chairs face a stage where several saffron-robed sannyasis sit before a central ritual setup, with a banner above reading in Kannada. Seated audience members in white, cream and light clothing fill the foreground, many with their backs to the camera. A gold-trimmed ornate canopy stands at the right edge. Counting clearly visible seated and standing people gives a crowd in the dozens, but only partial figures are visible and no individual candidate for a person can be confidently identified from appearance.2007-01-30August 11 20092009-08-11December 30 20082008-12-30January 12 20072007-01-12
