A photograph of an outdoor covered porch beside a white wall and a wooden framed door with glass panels. A man with long dark hair, wearing an orange saffron robe and red shawl with a gold-patterned belt, stands with palms cupped and head bowed, receiving something. Facing him, an elderly man with white hair and a white beard, wearing a yellow and purple patterned shawl, bends forward with hands lowered. A white plastic chair sits between them. On the left, a man in a white shirt and dark trousers stands with arms crossed, and another person in orange is partly visible at the edge. A cushioned mat lies on a ledge at lower left.2006-05-23A photograph of two men exchanging a small yellow fruit on a covered outdoor veranda beside a white wall and wooden-framed glass doors. A long-haired man in saffron-orange cloth with a red shawl across his shoulder, bare-chested under the wrap, extends the fruit with both hands toward an older white-bearded man wearing a gold-yellow shawl with red borders and gold bangles. A white plastic chair and folded mattresses sit at left, and a standing man in a white shirt and dark trousers watches at the edge. Appearance-based cues on the saffron-clad man include long swept hair, a red shawl and a bare-chested wrap, so he is a person candidate and the image is an in-person moment; the other man is a devotee receiving the offering.2006-05-23A photograph of a bare-chested man in saffron-orange dhoti with a red shawl draped over his shoulders and long dark hair, standing on a covered porch and holding a small yellow item and red packet in his hands. Before him, a seated elderly man with a bald head wearing a yellow silk shawl with red and maroon borders bows forward. Behind them are a wooden-framed glass door, a white plastic chair, and stacked mattresses in plastic wrapping. A standing man in white shirt and dark trousers stands at the left edge. The saffron-clad man has distinctive long swept hair and ornate shawl cues, consistent with the page's a person reference, though identity is uncertain from appearance.2006-05-23A photograph of two men seated on white plastic chairs in a plain room with a white wall, wooden-framed windows and stacked mattresses at left. The younger man on the left has long dark hair and wears a saffron-orange robe with a red shawl, smiling as he sits with hands clasped. The older man on the right has white hair and a long white beard, wears wire-rimmed glasses, a yellow shawl with red and gold borders over white clothing, and holds an open book with blue covers while conversing. A black chair and a small steel bowl sit nearby.2006-05-23A photograph of two men indoors beside a white wall and a wooden door with a metal grille. On the left, a long-haired man in an orange sleeveless robe with a red shawl bordered in gold smiles as he holds out cupped hands containing red powder. On the right, an elderly white-bearded man with glasses and a bun wears a yellow silk shawl and a rudraksha mala, reaching his hands toward the offering. A white plastic chair and a blue bag sit at the lower edge. The left man shows distinctive long swept hair, orange robe and red shawl, but the appearance is not conclusive enough to name him as a person, so he is described only by role and the probable label is withheld.2006-05-22May 23 20062006-05-23Indoor photograph in a plain whitewashed hall with tiled floor and barred windows. A figure with long dark hair in an orange-saffron robe on the left drapes a red silk shawl with gold border over the shoulders of a smiling man in orange robes and an orange head wrap on the right. Two more men in orange robes stand at the right edge, one wearing glasses. A small plaque is mounted on the wall at right. The presentation of a shawl to a honoured guest appears to be taking place.2006-10-30A photograph taken indoors in a tiled hallway with white walls and a closed white door. A person with long, swept-back dark hair and an orange-saffron robe stands on the left, draping a red and gold silk shawl with gold fringe over the shoulders of a second person in a cream-coloured robe and a cream cap. The shawl is red with a gold woven border. The person in the orange robe appears to be a probable Swamiji by appearance, with long swept-back hair and saffron clothing, and is performing the shawl offering, while the recipient wears a cream robe and cap.2006-10-30Two people in saffron-orange sannyasi robes greet each other in a marble-floored hall doorway. The figure on the left, with a shaved head and glasses, extends a hand and smiles toward a figure on the right wearing an orange turban and a white and orange flower garland. Festive garlands of white flowers and orange marigolds hang over the doorway and ceiling. A man in a pink checked shirt and dark trousers stands in the background at right, smiling.2010-01-29August 03 20082008-08-03Outdoor photo beside a whitewashed concrete block wall with a doorway.
