A photograph of a long queue of people in saffron and orange clothing standing along a brick-paved path beside a tall red boundary wall, with trees and a small green-roofed structure behind. Several devotees in orange robes and orange turbans hold steel vessels and plates, some receiving food from a person in a purple sari who stands bending over metal pots at the left. A man in a teal shirt and face mask stands near the front of the line. At the right foreground, a man in an orange turban and orange robe carries a blue bag. The scene suggests a communal food distribution. No a person candidate is visible.

A photograph of a large open-sided tent at a Kumbh Mela camp, with a yellow cloth floor and corrugated metal walls. Many saffron-robed sadhus and sannyasis sit in rows on low wooden trays laid with steel plates, small bowls and water bottles, as if for a shared meal (bandara). In the centre, a man in a peach kurta holds a small book and stands among seated monks, one of whom wears a rudraksha mala and a bead garland. A seated monk in an orange headwrap and robe eats from a steel bowl. A bald monk in saffron sits at the right foreground. Several men in white kurtas stand at the far right.

A food distribution outdoors at a temple-style entrance with granite pillars and blue draped cloth. Several people in saffron and orange robes serve rice from large steel vessels into paper plates held by a seated man in white. A woman in an orange shawl with a rudraksha mala ladles rice, and another orange-clad monastic holds a white sheet of paper. Steel pots, a bowl of white rice and yellow dishes sit on a white-covered table in front. Men in white shirts and dhotis stand nearby, and a man in a plaid shirt watches in the background.

A long open-sided tent with orange and white canopy shows rows of seated people at wooden tables being served a meal. Many are saffron-robed sannyasis, some with orange turbans, and several white-clad women with yellow-orange marigold garlands lean forward placing food on metal plates. Water bottles, paper sheets and steel thalis line the tables. A bearded man in a yellow-orange shawl and white kurta stands at right with hands together. Corrugated red metal barriers line the left side, with a woman in a purple sari visible at upper left. This appears to be an annadan (free food) service.

A long bhandara feast laid out along a red carpet in a large tent, with rows of seated sadhus and monastics in saffron and orange robes and turbans eating from metal plates and tumblers. Servers in white dhotis and white shirts move along the aisle serving food, and a woman in a white sari with a red border carries a tray at left. Many people are visible, and the scene conveys a large communal annadan.
