Night-time photo of a courtyard where a group of initiates sit in rows, most bare-chested with rudraksha malas and white dhotis bordered in gold-yellow. Many wear red or gold blindfolds and have white markings on their faces and bodies. Some sit on white plastic chairs while a young man in front sits cross-legged on an orange mat, one hand raised near his face. Behind them, a row of younger boys in orange garments and malas sits on the stone floor. Dark wet patches mark the paving and green leafy plants with pink flowers frame the lower right. Nobody in the scene is identified as a specific person.

In the foreground, a man with a shaved head sits with eyes half-closed and hand raised near his chest, while a bearded man in the centre sits with hands resting on his knees. A potted aloe plant stands behind the group, and a few people in saffron and white robes are partly visible at the edge of the frame.

A seated group of ritual participants fills the frame. Many men in plain white dhotis and shawls, some bare-chested with white vibhuti horizontal lines on their foreheads and arms, sit on mats before brass oil lamps and small brass vessels. Several wear rudraksha malas. In the right foreground, a man with short dark hair wears a saffron/orange cloth and a rudraksha mala, seated calmly with hands resting on his lap. Beside him, a shaved-headed young sannyasi in saffron robes sits with a white tilak. Overall muted, warm lighting with orange and white tones.

Night photograph of a seated crowd of devotees in white and red-saffron clothing at an outdoor event. In the foreground, a man in white with a red-and-cream shawl and rudraksha mala sits with a serious expression, while beside him a man in white with black-rimmed glasses and a bare chest wears a rudraksha mala. A bald man on the right wears an orange-saffron cloth over his head and shoulders. Behind them, a standing man in a long orange-saffron shawl holds papers, and a man in white stands near a row of metal chairs at the right edge. Many people sit closely together on the ground.

A photograph of a seated puja in an indoor hall. Many shaven-headed men in white dhotis and shawls sit on orange-red mats with brass lamps and vessels before them. Several wear rudraksha malas and white tripundra markings on their foreheads. In the lower right foreground, a man in saffron-orange robes with a rudraksha mala and folded palms sits with a book open before him, and a man in orange with a grey beard sits lower left, both appearing to take part in the ritual. Their faces show concentration. The mood is devotional and orderly.

Night-time outdoor gathering of young male devotees seated cross-legged on a cloth-covered floor, dressed in white dhotis and shawls with gold borders. Many wear rudraksha malas and have white or sandal forehead markings. The front-right devotee, with a shaved head and stacked beaded necklaces, holds his palms together in anjali. Behind them, older men in white and a man in a patterned shirt sit in the dark. Oil lamps or lights glow faintly in the background, and a pillar stands at the left. No a person candidate is clearly identifiable among the seated devotees.
