Several wear white saris with coloured borders, one wears an orange-and-green floral sari, another a yellow sari, and a young girl in a white dress with purple top writes. Name badges are pinned to many blouses. Red curtains and chairs are visible at the back, with a large crowd filling the room.2011-09-15April 18 20122012-04-18August 25 20122012-08-25April 16 20122012-04-16 +1 copiesA photograph of a seated group of women writing in notebooks during a session in an indoor hall. Most people are women in white saris and white clothing, many wearing orange or red shawls and red-and-white beaded necklaces with ID lanyards. Several have white or ash markings on their foreheads. Behind them, rows of saffron-robed sadhus and monks sit in the background. At the far end, a golden deity murti or figure stands near a decorated altar with orange cloth and a small green tree. The atmosphere is a satsang or gathering at the Kumbh camp.2015-09-11Photograph of a seated audience during a satsang-style talk in a hall. In the foreground, women wearing saffron and orange sarees and rudraksha malas sit cross-legged on a red mat, with a woman in a white saree with gold jewellery at right; one woman in the centre holds a notebook and pen. Behind them, many more devotees in orange, white and colourful clothing sit facing forward, with a golden-draped figure partially visible at the top left, which appears to be a statue or seated figure rather than a person.2016-08-14 +1 copies
