December 13 20112011-12-13A man with his hair tied in a bun leans his forehead against a tree trunk with eyes closed, in a quiet outdoor setting. He wears a violet silk dhoti-style garment with a red and gold brocade shawl draped over one shoulder, multiple rudraksha malas and a gold pendant necklace, a rudraksha armband, and a rudraksha bracelet on his wrist. A tilak mark is visible on his forehead. The bark of several tree trunks fills the left side of the frame, and one trunk bears a purple painted mark. This appears to be a pada-puja-style devotional moment at a tree. The appearance-based candidate is Swamiji (probable), shown with long hair in a bun, rudraksha malas, gold pendant and ornate silk clothing.2011-12-14 +1 copiesA barefoot man in a purple dhoti and red-and-gold bordered shawl stands with his forehead resting against the trunk of a large banyan tree with aerial roots, eyes closed in devotion. He wears a long rudraksha mala with a gold ornament, rudraksha armlets and bracelets, and a white tilak on his forehead, with his hair tied in a bun. The setting is an outdoor courtyard with a low stone platform and scattered flower petals.2011-12-14 +1 copiesSeptember 03 20112011-09-03 +3 copiesDecember 15 20112011-12-15A photograph of a man standing barefoot beside a large banyan-type tree with thick aerial roots, pressing his head and one hand against the trunk with eyes closed. He wears a bright blue silk garment with orange and purple-striped borders draped over one shoulder and falling in pleats, with a metallic silver necklace, silver armlet and silver bangles. His dark hair is tied in a bun at the back. The setting is outdoors on reddish earth with a low stone edging. Whether this person is a person cannot be confirmed from appearance, so the figure is described by role only as a man at prayer.2011-12-02December 14 20112011-12-14A man in a purple and red silk garment with gold border stands in profile beside a large banyan tree, resting his head and one hand against its aerial roots.
