A man on the left in white kurta and a red-and-white shawl holds a plate and reaches toward a dish of flatbreads. Women in white saris with red and gold borders wear white hairnets and handle serving tongs, one with a beaded necklace. A large framed painting of red-robed figures hangs on the wall above. Lines of other servers stand behind the counter, and the scene reads as annadan or communal meal service.2016-02-09November 25 20112011-11-25Annadhan in 20152015-01-01 +1 copiesDecember 16 20172017-12-16A buffet serving line of steel pots with a yellow rice dish on a patterned cloth, in a pink-walled hall with a golden cobra-hood canopy at left.
