In the foreground a seated man in a red sleeveless top with an orange shawl and a long garland of yellow and orange flowers is bowed forward. A man in white dhoti and shirt, wearing beaded necklaces, leans in and reaches toward his head as if giving a blessing. Behind them a woman in a white sari with gold trim and a man in white shirt stand among onlookers, including children. Long dark hair and orange robes appear at the left edge, and a white cloth covers a seat at lower right.2009-08-08A photograph of a home visit in an indoor room with cream walls, a wooden cabinet, a television and red curtains. A seated figure in saffron-orange robes wears a pink flower garland and sits on a white cloth, with scattered petals on the cloth. In front of the seated figure, an older man in white kneels on a patterned mat with his head bowed, while another person in orange sits nearby. Behind them, a crowd of devotees in white and cream garments, including a man in white shirt and lavender dhoti, a woman in a cream sari with a small child in a blue and white outfit, and a woman in a teal sari, stand with hands folded in greeting.2009-01-10August 08 20092009-08-08A photograph of a healing darshan at an indoor hall. A long-haired person in an orange sleeveless robe leans forward and places a hand on the head of a seated older woman in a green and gold sari. Beside them, a shaven-headed man in orange palms his hands together. Other devotees in white and cream clothes, including an older woman in a white sari with glasses, press close behind a white ritual seat. Red curtains, a loudspeaker and colourful hangings frame the scene, and rudraksha malas and printed material lie on a tray in the foreground.2008-03-26A photograph of a seated figure in an orange saffron turban, orange robe over a red top, with long dark swept-back hair, receiving a kneeling elderly man in a white shirt with a rudraksha mala and a kneeling woman in a white sari with a gold border. Standing behind them are several people in white clothes, saffron-scarfed women in cream saris with gold borders, and a man in white with glasses. A red carpet runs across the floor, white flower arrangements sit at the left, and a white cushioned seat is at right. The seated figure has a distinctive saffron turban, long swept-back hair and a rudraksha mala, so this may be a person, shown in person.2009-06-17January 10 20092009-01-10Indoor photo in a bright room with a white wall, a wall calendar, and a dark cabinet at right. A central figure with long dark hair wears an orange-saffron robe with a red and yellow flower garland and a red bindi, smiling as he receives offerings. Two women in white sarees with floral hair decorations and gold jewellery kneel and reach toward him; one holds a small orange stuffed toy. A man in a white shirt and white dhoti kneels at right, placing a garland, and a young man in white with a yellow shawl stands behind holding a framed picture. The orange robe and garland mark the central figure's presentation, but the appearance cues are only moderately distinctive, so identity is uncertain.2010-02-15March 27 20082008-03-27August 08 20092009-08-08Photograph of an indoor gathering in a tiled room with pale walls.
