Each dish holds a different dried material: seeds, grains, pebbles, bark pieces, chips of roots, dried flowers and powders in ochre, grey, white and dark brown. No people are visible. The dishes appear to be a display of herbs and natural substances laid out on the ground.2009-01-29April 28 20172017-04-28A photograph of a ritual setup for a homa fire pit: a grid of many round metal plates arranged in rows on a red floor, each holding dried herbs, roots, seeds, bark and powders. Behind them stands a white brick-like fire altar decorated with red, pink and yellow flowers and a line of orange marigold garlands along the table edge. A bundle of firewood sits at left beside a brass vessel, a small brass lamp and a plastic water bottle, with a white cloth draped on the table. Only a partial figure in white clothing is visible at the far left edge. No a person figure is visible.2007-11-18April 28 20172017-04-28April 01 20162016-04-01 +1 copiesKAILASA LOS ANGELES, USA on 1/13/20222022-01-13A photograph of a ritual setup inside a tent with a red carpet. In the foreground, a long row of small round metal plates holds dried herbs, roots, grains and bark pieces arranged in neat rows. Behind them is a white-draped raised platform with a stepped white block base decorated with pink, red and yellow flowers and garlands, and a brass vessel on top. A framed picture with floral garlands sits at the top of the frame. At the left, a person in white clothing sits on the carpet beside brass vessels, bananas, fruit and a water bottle. The setting suggests a homa or ritual offering preparation, with a silver-toned pedestal lamp nearby.2007-11-18December 19 20162016-12-19A large photograph of many small round brass dishes arranged in dense rows on a reddish-brown speckled stone floor.
