Night photograph of a street procession in India. In the centre, a man in an all-white dhoti and shirt with a white forehead mark stands with palms pressed together in namaste. Beside him, a woman in a bright pink saree with a gold border and gold bangles holds her hands in anjali. To the right, a woman in a coral-red saree with a tray of fruit and offerings stands near. Around them, men in white dhotis and shirts, one holding a small drum, a man in a yellow shirt, and a child in green are gathered; a man in white at far right also presses his palms together. Bright vehicle lights and shop signs with posters appear in the background, and an old white car is parked at right.

A crowd of men, women and children gathers closely in a dim outdoor evening setting for a temple procession. In the centre, a man in an all-white shirt and white dhoti stands with palms pressed together in namaskar, wearing a white tilak on his forehead. Beside him a woman in a bright pink silk saree and gold necklace holds a metal tray decorated with yellow and white flowers and offerings. At lower left a man in white with a saffron-orange shawl stands with arms folded. At lower right a man in white shirt with a white forehead mark and a rosette badge holds a small item. Several others wear white tilak marks and white clothing. No candidate can be confidently identified by appearance, so roles are used.

A crowded street scene in which a man in white dhoti and shirt with a red-and-gold shawl holds a garland of orange and yellow marigolds, with a framed photo or printed sheets tucked beneath it, and smiles while several men around him in white clothes press their palms together in greeting. A uniformed police officer in khaki stands at the right edge, and an older woman in an orange sari with a bindi stands at the left. Several men wear white shirts with ash or sandal marks on their foreheads, and one man in an orange shawl folds his hands in front of his chest. The setting is outdoors at night, with the crowd pressing close around the garland presentation.

A photograph of a crowded indoor hall with pillars, ceiling fans and long tables, where many men in white shirts and dhotis, plus some in saffron scarves, gather around a central figure. A smiling person with long dark hair wears a large pink-red flower garland and an orange shawl, clasping hands with a man in a white shirt. Others crowd close, some with folded palms, and a camera rig is visible at the right edge. Several people stand in the background among tables. The setting suggests a reception or felicitation. Swamiji (probable): the central garlanded figure has long swept-back hair and an orange shawl, a cue for the page's Swamiji claim, so in_person is used with the appearance caveat.

In the foreground a man in a white shirt and white dhoti stands with palms pressed together in anjali greeting, smiling, wearing gold bracelets, a ring and a rudraksha mala. Beside him a young man with long hair wears a white kurta and an orange shawl with a mala. Behind them other men in white kurtas and orange sashes stand and watch. On the right edge, a figure with long dark hair in a saffron turban and saffron robe faces the group from behind. Stage lights and orange flags are visible in the background.
