A seated man in an orange-saffron robe and a yellow cloth draped over his lap sits cross-legged on an ornate gilded throne with red velvet cushions and a leopard-skin rug. He wears a long multi-strand gold-and-white flower garland and has a bold white-and-red forehead mark, with palms pressed together in namaste. Two large painted and gilded attendant figures with crowns, gold jewellery and raised hands flank the throne, and golden lion heads sit at the armrests. The background has a yellow panelled wall and a stage-like setting. The palms-together posture and the throne setting suggest a satsang or discourse on a dais.2014-07-11May 13 20132013-05-13A photograph of a stage with red carpet and a gold ornate throne on wheels against a carved gold lattice backdrop. On the throne, a large portrait-style image shows a smiling man in a red turban with a rudraksha mala and hands in anjali; this is a depiction on a screen or print, not a physical person. Two women stand on pale green yoga mats: one bends forward with her hands on the mat in a forward-fold, wearing black leggings and a black top; the other, on the right, stands in a lunge in an orange-red kurta and patiala-style trousers with a long braid and a rudraksha-style necklace. Gold trident-topped staffs and red curtains frame the scene.2016-12-07A woman in orange-brown robes and a rudraksha mala sits cross-legged on a blue mat on a red stage, arms raised with hands mudra-gesturing, performing a teaching or guided practice. Behind her a golden throne with a maroon cushion stands beside a tall golden trident. On the throne a figure in red-and-maroon clothing, wearing a red turban and a red-beaded garland, sits with palms raised, appearing as a screen image on the backdrop. Maroon drapes frame the stage. The woman and the seated figure are the only people shown.2016-12-12May 10 20132013-05-10May 09 20132013-05-09A man sits cross-legged on an ornate gold throne with red velvet cushions and a tiger-skin cloth, smiling, wearing an orange-saffron crown or turban, orange-brown robes with a gold-bordered shawl, a long rudraksha-style mala and gold armbands.
