December 27 20192019-12-27A close portrait photograph of a smiling man in a rust-brown silk turban decorated with a crescent moon ornament, a jewelled brooch and rudraksha beads. He wears a white vertical tilak with a red bindi, layered rudraksha malas, a heavy ceremonial gold and pearl necklace with a green stone, a rudraksha bracelet, and a brown shawl. He raises one hand in a blessing gesture. Behind him are snow-capped mountains and an ornate silver throne backrest. Swamiji (probable): the rudraksha malas, brown turban and ornate ceremonial jewellery are consistent with the page's identification, so this figure is labelled Swamiji (probable).2019-12-27December 27 20192019-12-27Close-up photograph of a smiling man wearing a deep maroon turban wrapped with rudraksha beads and a gold serpent ornament.
