July 31 20152015-07-31Close-up of a seated figure draped in a rust-brown silk cloth, with a hand tucked into the folds. Layered garlands of white jasmine and red roses with red and white beads hang across the chest, with gold ornaments visible beneath. Small white petals or grains are scattered over the brown fabric and a red cushion sits behind. The face is not visible; the person's role cannot be confirmed from the frame.2016-07-19Close photo of a seated person in a rust-orange garment draped over the lap, wearing a long white and red garland of flowers and a wrist with bangles. Another person in a white shirt, seen from behind at the right edge, pours a stream of white grain or rice from cupped hands onto the orange cloth. Yellow cushioned armrest and a gold object appear in the background. A pink and green lotus-like floral decoration sits at the upper left.2015-07-31August 12 20172017-08-12 +1 copiesClose-up photo of a man's hand held out palm-up, holding a small clear crystal or glass object. He wears a rust-brown robe with a yellow waistband and layered rudraksha malas, plus white jasmine garlands with orange flowers. Beside him, a person in a red and black patterned garment is seated, with long dark hair partly visible in the foreground. Rudraksha bracelets and a beaded wrist band are visible on the wrists.2016-01-10January 17 20162016-01-17May 24 20162016-05-24Close-up photo of a seated person's upper body and hands during a ritual. The figure wears a thick pink and white flower garland with gold bead ornaments, gold bangles on the wrist and upper arm, and a reddish-orange cloth draped over the shoulder. The hands are held open in a mudra-like gesture above a maroon cushion with an orange cloth. On the left stands a small silver bowl and a silver cylindrical vessel on a tray. Blurred gold and orange ritual objects fill the background. Because the image shows only hands and torso, no face is visible and the person's identity cannot be confirmed from appearance alone; the setting suggests a temple puja or satsang.2013-05-27August 06 20172017-08-06 +1 copiesAugust 14 20172017-08-14Close-up photograph of a seated figure on an ornate silver-and-gold throne with carved lion-head armrests, against a bright orange and gold backdrop. The figure wears a rust-brown dhoti-style garment with a gold border, long white and pink flower garlands, a heavy gold bead necklace with a gold pendant, a gold-banded necklace, and beaded bracelets with red thread on the wrist and multiple bead armlets. Only the torso, arms and hands are visible; the face is cropped out. Robed ceremonial attire and throne setting suggest a seated discourse or darshan. A lion-head armrest is on each side. Appearance cues are limited to ornate clothing, garlands and adornments on a throne, which is insufficient for a confident identification.2017-07-28Close-up photograph of a person's hands pouring white rice grains from a cupped palm into a silver bowl during a ritual offering. The wrist wears gold bangles and a red-and-black thread. Garlands of white jasmine and red-and-white beads drape at the left edge, and a rust-brown cloth and red flower lie in the foreground, with another person's hands and gold ornaments visible at right.2016-07-19
