Two large painted standing figures with four arms, crowns and green-and-orange garments flank the central doorway. In the centre, a framed portrait of a smiling man in an orange turban and orange robe sits atop a golden throne with a tiger-motif base, garlanded with white flower strands and red-and-yellow garlands. A man in white dhoti with bare upper body kneels at the throne, and a woman in an orange sari kneels at the lower left beside brass puja items and a tray of offerings. Brass oil lamps stand on either side. Two more people in orange clothing are visible near the throne. The floor is covered with a red mat.2014-06-02Inside a temple shrine, a golden throne with a tiger-skin cushion stands in front of a framed portrait of a smiling man in orange ceremonial clothing and an orange turban, labelled "Paramahamsa Nithyananda". Two painted deity murti flank the doorway, each with multiple arms, gold crowns, gold necklaces and orange-red dhotis with green shawls, holding ritual objects. Brass oil lamps stand on either side. Four people in orange-red robes sit on the floor before the throne, one with long dark hair facing away, in a devotional setting.2014-04-17April 17 20142014-04-17February 07 20142014-02-07A temple shrine interior with painted pink and green pillars and two gilded deity figures with multiple arms flanking a central doorway. Inside the doorway stands a framed portrait of a smiling man in saffron/orange turban and robes, placed on a gold throne with a tiger-skin cushion. Three people in saffron and orange clothing sit on the red carpet before the throne; one bare-chested figure with a sacred thread holds a ritual item while others kneel in attendance. On the left, a bald man in white ritual dress sits beside a tall brass oil lamp with lit flames, and brass lamps line the walls.2014-04-08A photograph inside a richly painted temple hall with a red carpet. Two large painted deity statues with four arms flank a doorway, holding attributes such as a club and lotus. In the central golden throne-like seat sits a figure in a maroon robe with a maroon head covering, hands raised in a blessing gesture; the figure's appearance is not clear enough to confirm identity, so this is a seated devotee-style figure described by role. Brass oil lamps stand on both sides. In the foreground, a person in a white dhoti with a sash sits with their back to the camera, and on the right a woman in a maroon sari with folded hands and several seated devotees, including a child in pink, face the throne in worship during what appears to be a puja. Approximately 6-8 physical people are visible.2014-04-20A shaved-headed priest in saffron-orange robe with white horizontal tilak markings on his forehead and arms performs aarti with a tiered silver oil lamp (kuthuvilakku-style) before a shrine. Inside the shrine, a framed portrait of a bearded figure wearing an orange turban sits on an ornate golden throne draped over a tiger-skin motif, flanked by two standing deity murti figures with gold crowns and ornaments. Brass oil lamps line the right side and two devotees in orange robes sit inside the shrine area. Colourful painted pillars with pink and green capitals frame the scene.2013-11-06August 03 20132013-08-03A photo inside an ornate temple-style shrine with pink and green pillars and gold-coloured decorations. At centre, a framed portrait of a smiling man with a saffron-orange turban sits on a gold throne draped with a tiger skin, under a gold canopy with hanging bells. Two large painted deity statues with raised arms stand on either side, and tall brass oil lamps line the walls. In the foreground a woman in an orange sari sits on the floor writing in a notebook beside a brass bell and bowls, while three monks in saffron and maroon robes kneel at the base of the throne performing a puja.2013-11-05
