Before him, rows of saffron-robed sannyasis sit on the floor along a long strip of green banana-leaf meal service with water bottles and food. A standing man in orange with a microphone speaks at left. A woman in white sits at the right edge. A trident stands behind the throne, and bamboo screens and a red backdrop frame the hall. The scene shows a Maheshwara Puja meal gathering.2016-03-30A ceremonial ritual in a tented hall hung with white drapery. A bearded man with long swept-back hair, wearing a saffron-orange dhoti and a white rudraksha-style mala, sits on a gold-framed throne under a gold canopy. A golden deity murti with a crown and garland sits behind him. Women in saffron, red and white saris and white head coverings stand near the throne and along a long row of banana-leaf plates heaped with food and small cups. Rows of seated devotees in the foreground, many men bare-chested in orange-brown cloths, face the throne. Ornamental parasols in multicoloured patterns, a trident and a small standing deity figure flank the scene.2016-12-18Indoor ritual gathering in a hall with a deep red feature wall and purple damask-patterned panels. A saffron-robed figure seated on a gold-and-red throne at the right, wearing a saffron turban and a red shawl, faces a large seated group on the floor. Rows of people in saffron and orange robes sit on the left and centre, while others in white clothes and red-orange shawls sit and stand along the back. A red patterned rug, brass bowls of food, metal dishes, a steel flask and leaf-plates are arranged in front. Several printed panels hang on the wall behind. The figure on the throne matches the page's description of a person only with a probable appearance cue of a saffron turban and ornate seating, so this is recorded as an appearance-based candidate.2015-10-23A seated man in an orange saffron robe with dark red trim, wearing a long beaded rudraksha mala, sits on an ornate gold throne with a carved lion-form armrest and orange cushions, with a dark stage backdrop and a painted deity panel at upper right. In front of him, a group of devotees in white and yellow-gold clothing sit on the floor, some holding small silver plates with fruit, flowers and offerings, and one man in white holds a small cup. Several people behind them wear white with tripundra markings on their foreheads, and a red-topped wooden box sits at right. Ritual puja offerings are arranged on the floor.2010-11-10July 19 20162016-07-19Long rows of saffron-robed sannyasis in orange turbans sit cross-legged on a white cloth runner along a polished floor, with green banana leaves laid before them holding yellow flowers, fruit and food offerings. Several sadhus have white sacred markings on their bodies and rudraksha malas around their necks. Behind them, seated devotees in white clothing watch from rows of chairs, and a man in a white dhoti stands at the right side near a camera tripod. A large screen and a gold-railed platform appear in the background. No single figure is identified as a person in this frame.2017-09-19Annadhan in 20152015-01-01 +2 copies
