Many people walk among raised umbrellas, some dark and some red-and-blue, and red flags on poles. Several decorated ceremonial standards or palanquin-style structures with bright red and gold ornaments rise above the crowd. A large figure, possibly a deity murti on a ratha, is lit at the upper left. Several people in orange garments are visible near the front. The crowd is dense and mostly silhouetted, with faces hard to make out. A few individuals are clearly visible, and the scene suggests a festival or temple procession.2017-09-30A night-time procession seen from an elevated balcony at an ashram-style grounds. Many devotees walk along a dirt path lit by strings of green and red fairy lights and floodlights, with a large green-lit tree beside them. Numerous people hold colourful umbrellas in orange, red, yellow, blue and pink, and some carry red flags. Participants wear traditional attire in saffron, white and red tones. A tractor and a brightly lit vehicle appear at the edge, and a dark wall and treeline frame the background.2016-12-09December 31 20152015-12-31
