December 30 20142014-12-30December 30 20142014-12-30December 30 20142014-12-30A photograph of a central figure with long dark hair and a red bindi, wearing a multi-strand gold and red-beaded necklace and dark garment, standing before a backdrop of green and orange painted scenery with a large tree trunk. Two devotees in white dhotis or saris with red-and-gold woven shawls stand with their backs to the camera, one resting a hand on the central figure's head and the other gesturing toward them with palms open, as in a blessing or paada pooja setting. Green plants and hanging vines frame the scene.2014-12-30A photograph of a smiling person with long dark wavy hair and a red bindi, wearing a deep red top with a bare shoulder, a black skirt, a gold chain with a pendant, and layered gold ceremonial beaded necklaces. Two people in white dhoti-style garments with gold borders and red-orange shawls sit in the foreground, seen from behind, facing the central figure. The backdrop shows a painted green and orange scene with a tree trunk and green plants. The centre figure has a clear, ornate ceremonial presentation, but the face-based identity cannot be confirmed from appearance, so the role is described as a seated devotee-facing figure at a darshan-style gathering.2014-12-30December 30 20142014-12-30A smiling woman with long dark hair, a red bindi on her forehead, a maroon garment and a thick gold necklace of large beads with rudraksha-style beads stands in the centre of a stage with a painted backdrop in orange and green. In the foreground, two men with shaved heads in white dhotis with gold borders sit with their backs to the camera, one wearing a red-and-white garland. On the right, a woman in a red and gold saree raises her hands in greeting. Some stage decor is visible behind them.2014-12-30A smiling man with swept-back dark hair, a red bindi and a tilak stands bare-chested in an orange-saffron cloth draped over one shoulder, wearing heavy gold bead necklaces, gold bangles and an upper-arm band. He raises one arm in a blessing gesture toward a row of devotees. In the foreground, devotees with folded hands in namaste, one wearing an orange-and-white sari, stand near the blurred figures of others in white clothes in a hall. The distinctive long hair, saffron cloth and rudraksha-style gold adornments make this a probable Swamiji in person, giving blessing to devotees during satsang.2013-05-24A photograph of a woman with long dark hair and a red bindi stands centrally, smiling and gazing toward the viewer. She wears a red-and-gold ornamental blouse, a gold necklace and a rudraksha-style bead mala. Two women in white and cream saris with orange-red bordered shawls stand in front of her with their backs partly to the camera, one raising a hand toward her. Behind them is a warm yellow-and-green backdrop with potted plants and a tree trunk. No one in the scene is identified as a person by appearance cues here, and the scene is consistent with a paada pooja or darshan gathering.2014-12-30A man in a rust-orange sleeveless robe stands at the right, smiling and raising his right hand in a blessing gesture. He wears layered gold necklaces, a long rudraksha mala, gold armlets and a gold pendant, with a red dot on his forehead and white markings. Behind him, a shaved-headed man in white robes and a man with a yellow tilak on his forehead stand with hands folded. At the left, a bespectacled man in orange bows his head. Behind them, a red-and-gold canopy hangs over a gold-framed deity murti on a colourful shrine backdrop with ornate pillars.2013-07-24July 15 20132013-07-15A seated man on a red-cushioned gold-backed throne raises his right palm in blessing while smiling. He wears a leopard-print yellow-and-black headband, a rust-brown shawl, heavy gold beaded necklaces and wide gold armlets and bangles, with his long hair falling behind. Before him a shaved-headed devotee in a white dhoti with white body marks kneels with palms joined, holding a small book. Behind them a second man with long matted hair, white forehead marks, beaded necklaces and a rust cloth stands, and a woman in a dark red sari stands in the background. This is a shiva deeksha initiation scene at night.2017-08-21
