Behind the stage is a large printed banner with a smiling man in an orange turban and orange robe, with a red bindi, shown as a portrait labelled "Paramahamsa Nithyananda" in Tamil and English. A projection screen in front shows a figure seated on an ornate throne with a garland, and a small projector sits on an orange-draped table. The banner also shows a collage of Indian temple and landscape imagery. No physical people are visible on the stage.2011-04-17A photograph of a stage event with a large orange banner behind a projection screen. The banner shows a smiling man in an orange turban and orange robes, beside Tamil text reading a dhyana satsangam event in Tiruvannamalai. The projection screen shows a figure seated on an ornate chair with a rudraksha mala, wearing orange clothing; the screened figure is not a physical person in the room. A projector sits on a wooden stand below, and red and gold festoon decorations hang above. No physical people are visible in the frame.2011-04-17Photograph at night of an outdoor satsang with a large projection screen mounted on a black frame against dark trees with green lighting. The screen shows a close-up of a man in an orange saffron robe and a matching orange turban, with a rudraksha mala around his neck, seated in a dark chair with his hand raised in an open gesture while speaking into a microphone. Only the projected image is visible, no physical people are in the foreground, and partial figures appear at the lower right edge. Faint Tamil letters appear on a white background behind him.2010-01-10A dark-lit outdoor poster mounted on a board, with a red Tamil heading at top and a small blue bird logo in the corner. The left panel shows a smiling man in an orange-saffron turban and orange robes with gold necklaces, hands pressed together in namaste, set against a tree backdrop; a caption beneath reads the printed name paramahamsa nithyanandar. The right panel shows a second figure in a pale cream wrap with head bowed and hands clasped, seen in close crop. Tamil verse lines fill the centre, and a dark strip along the bottom carries more Tamil text and a blue-bordered footer. The image is a poster, not a physical gathering, so no people are present in the scene.2006-10-14A large outdoor screen at night, framed by dark foliage with green uplighting, shows a live close-up of a man in saffron-orange robes and an orange turban, with a rudraksha mala and a microphone in front of him. He is seated in a dark ornate chair, gesturing with one raised hand during a discourse. Partially visible audience members and a small grey laptop appear in the lower foreground. The screen displays a satsang broadcast, and the figure on it is a candidate for Swamiji (probable) based on saffron robes, orange turban, and rudraksha mala, though the appearance is only partly clear at this resolution.2010-01-10A stage backdrop at an event with a large projector screen in the centre showing a faded image of a seated figure in an arched shrine setting with a projected deity murti. Below the screen sits a small orange-draped lectern with a microphone and a small electronic device. On the left, a large portrait of a smiling man wearing an orange turban with a red bindi and orange robes is printed on the banner, labelled as a portrait of Paramahamsa Nithyananda. No people are physically visible in the scene.2011-04-17April 17 20112011-04-17A man stands on a raised stage in front of a large green banner, palms pressed together in namaste. He wears an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, an orange head wrap, and a rudraksha-style bead necklace; the description marks him as a person candidate on the basis of these cues, with the saffron clothing, head wrap and beads. To the left, a banner portrait of a smiling woman with long dark hair, a red bindi and an orange garment is labelled with a printed caption. The banner announces a Bhagavad Gita satsang, and a copyright notice appears at lower right. A metal pole stands in the foreground under a white canopy.2010-01-09August 13 20092009-08-13
