A photograph of an evening aarti in a temple-like room. A man in saffron-orange robes and a gold-bead mala necklace, with swept-back dark hair, holds a brass oil lamp with a lit flame. Beside him a shaved-headed monk in orange robes with a red tilak stands watching. To the left, a woman in white with a yellow shawl stands with head bowed, and another woman stands behind. White walls and a doorway frame the background. Swamiji (probable) cues are the swept-back hair, orange robes and gold-bead mala of the man holding the lamp.

A printed notice board and a red-and-white painted column appear in the background against an orange wall. Appearance-based candidate in the central figure: Swamiji (probable), with long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and golden ceremonial beads.

A photograph inside a plain white-walled room with an arched doorway on the left. A man in an orange turban and orange garments, with a long beard and a garland of white flowers with red and green ribbon-like accents, stands bent forward with his eyes lowered. Photograph of a brass oil lamp (kuthuvilakku-style lamp with a bird-shaped top) decorated with a white and red flower garland, held by a man in a white shirt with a yellow shawl on the right. A man in orange robes, an orange turban and long dark rudraksha malas stands on the left, holding a small orange plate with both hands near the lamp, appearing to offer or receive it. Behind them, several men in white and striped shirts and a man in orange clothing watch, some with hands folded. The background banner is cream with red script lettering. This appears to be a lamp-lighting or aarti moment at a public event.
