A man with long, swept-back dark hair and a bare chest wrapped in an orange-saffron cloth stands in an open outdoor yard, turned to his right, surrounded by a crowd of children and young people. Several boys wear white shirts and dark rudraksha-style beaded necklaces, one boy wears a green polo shirt, and a girl in a white shawl stands nearby. Behind them is a white single-storey building with red-trimmed windows and a corrugated roof. The orange-clad figure has distinctive long hair and saffron wrap cues, consistent with a person at a gurukul visit, but the appearance is not conclusive.2008-09-24A photograph of a central figure in an orange saffron shawl over a red undershirt, standing in a white-walled covered corridor and gesturing with one hand while holding a wooden staff. Around him a large crowd of children and young people in white and colourful clothes, including a boy in a yellow hooded top and a girl in a red-and-white outfit, gather closely and look toward him. Two adults in white and orange stand behind, one woman in an orange sari is at left, and a yellow and orange hanging decoration appears at top right.2007-12-21September 24 20082008-09-24Outdoor ashram courtyard with a corrugated roof and red-and-white painted wall. A tall figure with long, swept-back dark hair and a flowing saffron-orange robe stands at left, facing a group of children and women who are gathered closely together. A young boy in a light green shirt and white pants presses his palms together in front of his chest, and a girl in a white top and orange skirt wears a red-and-brown mala beside him. Several women wear salwar kameez in pink, blue, and red tones, and an older woman in a blue shawl stands near the centre. A woman in a red-and-orange sari at right holds a plant. In the foreground, a small black stone shivalinga with red and yellow flower offerings sits on a raised concrete plinth beside a freshly dug planting bed. A few grey pigeons are visible on the ground.2008-09-24Outdoor photo at a school-like compound with a white corrugated-roof building behind. A bare-backed figure with long dark hair, wearing only an orange cloth wrap, stands at centre facing a semicircle of children and young adults. Around him are potted flowering plants and a white-clad man in an orange shawl. Children in school uniforms, blue shirts, salwar kameez and orange shawls crowd the foreground and stand in lines to the right, many with hands folded or clasped behind their backs. A small stone platform sits beside the figure.2008-09-24December 21 20072007-12-21December 13 20112011-12-13February 12 20072007-02-12 +1 copiesA photograph of a crowd of children and adults at a festival gathering. In the centre, a long-haired man in an orange robe reaches out to touch the forehead of a young girl in white, a rudraksha mala hanging on her chest. Around them, many children in white clothes and tilak marks press close, while a woman in an orange-and-white sari with a red bindi stands in the foreground. On the left edge, a man in orange robes holds a tall ceremonial staff.
