A photograph of a homa fire ritual in an outdoor temple setting. Dense white smoke rises from a fire pit and a yellow-painted stone platform. A person in a rust-orange sari with gold border, bangles on the wrist, holds a metal ladle or dish of offerings over the flames, scattering material. Two metal bowls of liquid offering sit on the platform, marked with red and white dots, and a wooden stick lies across the stone. Burning embers glow on the left.
