A man in an orange-red turban and matching saffron-red dhoti-style wrap with a gold border tends a large fire at a homa. He wears a rudraksha mala and heavy gold beaded necklaces, with bead bracelets on his wrists and a red bindi on his forehead. A photograph of a fire ritual at night beside a brick-built homa pit stacked with wooden logs. In the foreground, a bald man in a red-orange saffron wrap and turban sits with palms pressed together in prayer, wearing a long beaded rudraksha mala and gold bangles, with a bowl of yellow liquid nearby. A younger boy in orange robes and a red-beaded mala sits beside him, and several people in white garments with prayer-pressed hands sit behind on a blue mat. Brass vessels, a kalasha-like pot and leaves are arranged around the fire pit. The description shows a homa with offerings and devotees in prayer, but the presence of a specific figure is unsure from appearance alone.
