The central figure wears an orange-saffron robe and stands before a framed portrait and an oil lamp. Many attendees sit cross-legged on the floor in white clothing, including white shirts and white saris, and several women wear braids. Orange cloth banners hang along the wall behind the platform, and a whiteboard and a television sit to the side. Two framed images hang on the left wall. The scene conveys an organized satsang or discourse.2008-12-06A seated audience of many devotees in a plain whitewashed hall faces a figure in saffron-orange robes seated on a white-draped dais, holding a brass oil lamp aloft. Behind him hang a framed portrait and a hanging garland of orange and saffron cloth, with a small shrine niche. Many attendees wear white or pale clothing, some women in saris with long braided hair, and some men in white shirts. A television and a stand sit at the right, and a whiteboard and a dark signboard reading Nithya Dhyanapeetam stand at the left. The seated figure in orange with a brass lamp fits a person appearance cue of saffron robes and a ceremonial lamp, leading a satsang-style gathering.2008-12-06December 06 20082008-12-06Interior of a plain white hall with a corrugated metal roof and exposed steel trusses, filled with rows of seated people in white clothes facing a small raised stage. On the stage, a woman in an orange-red sari sits on a low platform beside a framed portrait and a brass lamp. Several people in white sit on the floor, with white plastic chairs in the foreground; one standing man wears a yellow shirt. On the right wall hang large painted figures: a richly dressed king-like figure, a red-faced deity figure with ornaments, and a white bull. Orange drapes and a row of small orange flags decorate the back wall, and a glass cabinet stands on the left. Approximately 60 people are visible.2008-12-06Photograph of a seated congregation in a plain whitewashed hall with a corrugated metal roof and ceiling fans. A person in a saffron-orange robe stands at a lectern with a microphone, before a framed portrait garlanded in orange and a small altar with brass lamps and a trident. Seated men in white and orange clothing sit to the side, and one figure in orange bends near a table at the left. Dozens of seated devotees fill the floor, mostly women in cotton saris in white, cream, teal and pink, with some men in white shirts and dhotis. A person in orange and red clothing sits on an ornate patterned throne at the front, with a framed portrait and a bouquet of flowers nearby. A cameraman films on a tripod at the left-centre of the room. Many women wear hair in long braids. A woman in orange robes with a red-beaded mala speaks at a microphone beside a seated man in orange on the stage, with a white-draped table and a framed portrait with a golden canopy at the back. Rows of devotees in white clothes sit on the floor facing the stage, several with hands clasped or applauding. On the right, a cameraman in orange films standing beside a seated musician, and other orange-clad people stand near the wall. A row of ceremonial staffs and flags lines the back wall. The man on the stage in orange does not clearly match a person candidate.2008-03-23
