The staff has a tiered, ribbed body with bulbous rings and a flame-like or pointed finial at the top, resembling a ritual sceptre or ceremonial mace. The hand wears a gold bangle, and the sleeve of a red garment with gold embroidery is visible at the lower right, along with a pale ribbon or cloth passing across the frame. Only the hand and arm are visible, so no face or identity can be determined and no one is clearly recognisable as a person.2011-01-23March 05 20202020-03-05 +2 copiesMarch 05 20202020-03-05 +2 copiesMarch 07 20202020-03-07 +1 copiesMarch 05 20202020-03-05 +2 copiesClose-up photograph of a large gilded metal hand of a deity murti, with fingers curled around a small golden object shaped like a cobra or serpent wrapped around the wrist area.
