A photograph of a person seen from behind, standing barefoot on a patterned rug before an ornate silver throne draped with red, yellow, purple and white flower garlands and a leopard-print cushion. The person wears a rust-red draped garment with a gold waistband and gold armlets, a maroon turban, long dreadlocked dark hair and a white flower garland at the neck. Silver trishul staffs stand to the left beside a red curtain, and a silver lion-footed stool sits at the throne's base. Scattered petals cover the floor.2018-04-27September 22 20172017-09-22April 19 20182018-04-19 +1 copiesAugust 25 20172017-08-25 +1 copiesApril 17 20162016-04-17April 19 20182018-04-19July 17 20162016-07-17 +1 copiesSeptember 04 20162016-09-04Photograph of a shrine decorated with dense white jasmine garlands hanging from a canopy and red and orange roses along the altar edge. A single standing figure seen from behind, with long dreadlocked hair piled on the head and a bare upper arm with a gold armlet, wears a rust-orange robe and bends toward a leopard-print seat, possibly a throne or peetha. Above, a faint incense haze drifts in purple light, and a red cloth is draped across the top. Offerings and brass vessels sit on the floor in the foreground.2017-08-14 +1 copiesSeptember 23 20172017-09-23 +1 copiesA photograph of a temple ritual. In the left foreground a man in a rust-red turban and rust-red robe, with a white flower garland, long dark dreadlock-style hair falling to his back, and gold armlets, stands in profile holding a lit oil lamp (aarti) toward a shrine. Behind him, golden deity murtis are heavily decorated with multicoloured flower garlands in red, yellow, purple and white, and a golden cobra hood is visible. A brass bell and other ritual implements are nearby. The scene suggests a puja or aarti at a deity shrine.2017-07-09A photograph of a standing figure seen from the side, facing a large gilded sunburst-style backdrop with a golden lion-head decoration at the lower left. The figure has long dreadlocked hair and wears a leopard-print headwrap, a rust-brown garment, a heavy white and pink flower garland with a green cloth at the shoulder, and gold armlets. Their hands are folded in front of the chest. Strings of multicoloured fairy lights hang in the background, and a golden deity murti stands at the left edge. At the lower right a seated attendant in white with rudraksha malas watches. Swamiji (probable): the figure's long hair, flower garlands and ornate gold armlets are the cues, shown in a ceremonial setting, and the appearance is consistent with the page's claim.2017-08-25
