Sandalwood paste marks the forehead, and pink-red beaded rudraksha bracelets are on the wrists. The person holds a green lime or fruit while reaching toward a gold-coloured ritual object. Another person in the background wears a flower garland.2014-05-17A bearded man seated on a leopard-print throne-style chair against a deep maroon curtain, bare-shouldered with an orange-red shawl draped over his body. He wears a dark rudraksha mala and a multicoloured garland of pink lotus-like flowers, yellow and orange marigolds, magenta blooms and white jasmine strands. A white-and-red tilak marks his forehead. He looks down and his right hand reaches toward a metal plate heaped with white threads and rudraksha beads. Ornate beaded fabric is visible at the lower left. The scene suggests an energy darshan or blessing ritual with the bead offering, with a person appearance based on the garland, rudraksha mala, orange shawl and forehead marking.2018-05-26September 06 20172017-09-06 +1 copiesA man seated on an ornate golden throne with red cushions and a tiger-striped cloth draped over the seat, with peacock feather motifs behind him.
