A seated man in orange-saffron garments sits on a golden throne-like chariot, palms pressed together in namaste with a smile and closed eyes. He wears an ornate gold crown with a sunburst-style disc, a red bindi, layered red and pink flower garlands, gold bangles and armlets. Behind him a tall gilded pole with a golden finial and blue and red tassels rises against a clear sky. Marigold and yellow garlands drape the front of the golden vehicle. Whether this is a person cannot be confirmed from appearance alone, so the identity remains uncertain.2012-01-01A photograph of a man seated on a golden palanquin or ratha during an outdoor procession, eyes closed and smiling with palms pressed together in anjali mudra. He wears an ornate gold crown with a golden disc behind it, a red vermilion mark on his forehead, a long red-and-pink flower garland, gold armlets and bangles, and an orange-saffron garment with a gold-bordered wrap. Behind him rises a gold pillar studded with knobs, topped with a gold finial and a turquoise tassel, with purple and maroon tassels and yellow flower garlands hanging overhead. Marigold and white flower garlands drape the front edge of the golden carriage. Probable Swamiji is seated in the procession, with long swept-back hair, a crown, saffron clothing and rudraksha-style adornments visible, presented in an honorific ratha procession setting.2012-01-01A smiling man rides on a decorated golden procession chariot, wearing an ornate gold crown with a green and red fabric trim, a rudraksha-style gold bead necklace layered over an orange saffron garment, and red and yellow flower garlands. Behind him stand tall decorative poles with blue, green and red tassels and yellow and pink flower strings. A red bindi marks his forehead. Swamiji (probable) appears in this frame: the swept-back long hair, the saffron clothing and the ceremonial gold necklace are consistent with the page's reference to a procession appearance. He is the only person visible.2009-12-27A smiling man rides on a golden ceremonial vehicle decorated with marigold and red-pink flower garlands. He wears a white and red flower garland, a rudraksha mala, and a white vibhuti line on his forehead, with a crown-like ornament in his dark hair. Gold ceremonial staffs with finials flank the throne, and a microphone stand is at right. Behind him are garlands of marigolds in yellow, orange, red and green, and a tray of offerings sits on the left. A dark curtain forms the backdrop. One physical person is visible.
