The elephant's trunk is painted and it is covered in marigolds. In front, a man in a white shirt and grey trousers sits on a flatbed truck holding a long stick near the elephant, beside an ornate silver palanquin draped with a floral cloth. Silver-topped ceremonial poles with banana leaves and red tassels flank the scene. Crowds line the road, a uniformed police officer stands at left, and a red-walled building stands behind.
