Several wear white or cream clothes: one in a white top with a rudraksha-style mala, another in a cream-yellow shawl over white, and a woman on the right in white with a red shawl and gold bangles. Others wear dark kurtas and a rose-pink top. Behind them, a man in white kurta stands with hands folded, and a few more white-clad people are visible further left near a red wall.

Outdoors beneath a large spreading banyan tree, a line of devotees stands and kneels on bare reddish earth with palms pressed together in namaskar. Men in white dhotis and shirts stand at the left; women and girls wear white saris and salwar-style garments, one in an orange-and-blue border, and several sit on mats at the front. Their hands are folded in prayer as they take part in a guru-puja, with dense green leaves and a long branch overhead. No a person candidate is clearly visible in the frame.
