Around a golden tray of fruit, sweets and offerings, devotees in white dhotis and yellow garments perform a ritual, one man in white holding a small brass vessel while others hold offering plates. Seated devotees in the foreground, some in white and yellow saris, face the throne, and a row of seated musicians with instruments sits at the back of the hall beside a stand of ceremonial staves and garlands.2010-10-17October 17 20102010-10-17A photograph of a ceremonial gathering in an ornate hall. Gilded throne frames and a golden deity murti stand behind him, decorated with marigold and multicolour garlands. Devotees in white and yellow sit on the floor before the throne, some holding small items, a brass bowl of flowers and fruit sits on a table to the left, and a man in white with a microphone appears at the right.2010-10-17A seated figure on an ornate gold throne (peetha) in a hall decorated with marigold and multicolored garlands and a gold-framed backdrop. Around him, devotees sit on the floor in white dhotis and yellow or cream saris; a man in white kneels before a brass lamp and offering tray while another in white sits nearby. Gold ceremonial staffs, a golden ornamental vessel, and a fan stand beside the throne. At the right, a musician in white with a microphone sits among others. The setting suggests a puja with devotees, though no specific ritual is established.2010-10-17August 02 20092009-08-02August 08 20092009-08-08A seated man on an ornate gold throne with red cushions wears a saffron-orange robe and a long rudraksha mala, with a golden crown-like back panel behind him. Around him sit a group of devotees on an orange floor covering: women in green, yellow and white saris and a man in white with a child in a white shirt. Several women hold or sit with brass plates and bowls of offerings, and a fan and microphone are visible. A wall backdrop shows a temple gopuram. Visible people count is roughly a dozen, consistent with the 6-20 range. The seated figure's appearance is consistent with the a person candidate in a throne setting with distinctive saffron robe and rudraksha cues, so the label is probable.2010-10-27September 10 20102010-09-10August 09 20092009-08-09
