A smiling man in a red-orange turban and matching red-orange sleeveless wrap stands indoors, raising his right hand in a greeting or blessing. He wears a heavy gold necklace with a central pendant. Beside him, at left, stands a white and multicoloured deity murti with black braided hair and blue skin, next to yellow and white figurines on a white table draped with red cloth. A red curtain and a doorway appear in the background. Appearance-based cues of long hair under a turban, saffron-coloured clothing and an ornate gold necklace suggest Swamiji (probable), who is physically present.2009-06-17A smiling man in a saffron-red turban and matching red-orange wrap stands indoors, raising his right hand in greeting. He wears a heavy gold bead necklace with a gold pendant and a red bindi on his forehead. Beside him on a white table stands a large white-and-blue deity murti with long black hair, and small yellow and leopard-print figures sit at its base. A red curtain and a yellow-framed door are visible behind him against a grey block wall. The photo shows a single standing person.2009-06-17June 17 20092009-06-17Photograph inside a temple-like hall of a long-haired man in a flowing saffron-orange robe and a beaded rudraksha mala, extending his right arm to touch the hand of a large white Kali murti with a golden crown, red tongue and gold ornaments. Beneath it, a figure lies on the floor, a prone form with curly dark hair. In the background a person in a white dhoti-style garment walks past a wall of pale cinder block. Orange cloth hangs from the ceiling and a red curtain is at left. The man has distinctive long swept hair and saffron clothing with a rudraksha mala, which qualifies him as a person candidate in a decorating or ritual preparation setting.2006-10-19A seated figure in an orange saffron turban and orange robes sits cross-legged, raising one hand in blessing and gazing upward with a smile. A long rudraksha mala of brown beads hangs across the chest, and a red bindi marks the forehead. Behind is a wooden cabinet, a brass oil lamp with a bird-shaped spout, and a brass kalasha-style vessel with flowers, under a corrugated metal ceiling. The figure appears to be a lifelike statue or wax figure rather than a living person, so it is shown as a depiction. Swamiji (probable) cues are the swept black hair, saffron turban and rudraksha mala, but the figure is not a physical person in the scene.2009-08-08October 19 20062006-10-19April 01 20122012-04-01A photograph of a blue-skinned Kali murti standing on a blue wooden pedestal, her four arms holding a red object, a severed-looking head, a club-like weapon and a lotus-like object, adorned with gold sequined garments, a gold crown and a black hair mane. A man in a long flowing saffron-orange robe with long swept-back dark hair and a rudraksha mala around his neck stands at left, extending his hand toward the murti's red-tipped hand, as if decorating or touching it. Behind them is a red and yellow decorative stand with a painted Indian motif pillar and an ornate hanging lamp at right. Ornate blue walls with perforated red screens frame the scene.2006-10-19October 19 20062006-10-19June 16 20142014-06-16A man in a flowing saffron-orange robe with a rudraksha mala and long, swept-back dark hair stands barefoot on a red tiled floor beside a large blue-skinned Kali murti with four arms, golden crown and sequined gold-green garment, standing over a reclining figure on a blue wooden platform. He holds a small white plate or tray in one hand while reaching toward the figure. Behind them are a gilded throne with a red cushion, a golden parasol, a golden lamp stand and a decorated brass figure. Blue walls with red ventilation grilles frame the shrine.2006-10-19October 27 20082008-10-27
