October 03 20082008-10-03A seated figure in saffron-orange robes sits cross-legged on a red tiger-striped cushion on an ornate gold throne. The hands are folded in the lap, and a long multi-strand silver-toned beaded necklace hangs over the chest. Red-and-black striped round bolsters flank the figure, and red flowers decorate the golden backrest. The lower gilded base bears engraved script. Only the torso, hands and feet are visible; the face is cropped out of frame.2008-10-03July 13 20132013-07-13August 02 20102010-08-02 +7 copiesFebruary 04 20112011-02-04A photograph of a seated man with closed eyes and hands folded in his lap, sitting on an ornate gold throne with a red velvet seat and red armrests. He wears an orange saffron wrap draped over his body and a long rudraksha mala with a red bindi on his forehead, with long swept-back dark hair. Red fabric hangs behind the throne. He sits with palms pressed together in namaste and a gentle smile, feet bare on a patterned rug, with flower petals on the throne cushion and blurred ritual items in the foreground. Appearance-based cues are consistent with the page's identification of Swamiji (probable): a saffron turban, orange robes and rudraksha mala, seated in a ceremonial setting.2011-10-05
