A night-time ritual photograph at an altar with a fire flame. A man in white shirt and white dhoti leans in from the left holding a lit lamp or torch toward the altar. Behind him a figure in orange-saffron robes stands holding a long staff, and another person in orange robes sits near a green-yellow draped canopy. A large painted or decorated backdrop shows a deity murti under a colourful arched frame of pink, yellow, green and blue with silver tinsel. Flowers in red and yellow garlands and trays of offerings lie on the white stone altar and the foreground table, with brass vessels and a lamp stand. The scene suggests an aarti or puja at a decorated temple shrine.

A homa fire ritual in a tented shrine. A bare-chested priest with red rudraksha malas and an orange-yellow dhoti raises a lit oil lamp toward a fire pit lined with brick, with bright flames rising from it. Two seated assistants in white dhotis and shawls sit at left, and a standing attendant at right. Behind them stand a large deity murti draped in garlands and a silver-framed shrine containing a standing figure with a crown and garlands. Orange triangular banners with floral designs flank the altar, and a microphone stands near the priest.

A night-time homa ritual in a temple courtyard under a pink and white tent, with strings of coloured lights overhead. A tiered golden fire pit burns brightly in the foreground, with flowers and fruit offerings around it. A bare-chested priest with a red headcloth and rudraksha-style beads kneels at the fire, and another man in an orange cloth and a white dhoti tends the altar. Behind them, a decorated deity murti stands in an ornate golden arch, flanked by smaller statues. Seated devotees in white and saffron clothing watch from the right, and a man in a purple garment sits at the lower right with a basket of wood sticks. Several standing attendants in orange and white line the left side.

Night photograph of a Hindu fire ritual in a hall with a corrugated roof. A large fire burns in a raised square fire pit in the foreground. A priest in an orange-red turban and orange-yellow dhoti stands at the pit holding a lit lamp or offering toward the flames, while several other men in orange and white garments assist nearby. On the right, a deity murti decorated with yellow and orange marigold garlands sits beside a brass lamp stand, and a bird figure is visible on the right edge. Seated devotees in white watch from the left. A large framed photograph of a bearded man in ceremonial dress hangs on the back wall above a green-lit display, and a banner with a map is visible at the top. Coloured cloths cover the floor.

A large ceremonial fire burns in a brick-lined homa pit in front of a golden-framed shrine with a deity murti decorated with red-orange garlands and flowers. Two priests sit at left, one bare-chested in a red dhoti with a red garland, the other speaking into a microphone while gesturing. In the foreground a bare-backed priest in a yellow-green cloth pours or offers grains from a brass plate onto the brick edge of the pit. Brass oil lamps, kalasha pots and pink-patterned vessels surround the shrine. Metal barricades and onlookers in orange appear in the background. This appears to be a homa or yagna ritual with offerings.

Night ritual inside an open-sided hall with a corrugated metal roof, hung with fresh leaf garlands and a banner above. A fire burns in a square homa pit on a striped cloth-covered dais. Standing figures in white dhotis and bare upper bodies, plus a figure in an orange-gold cloth and a person in a yellow sari, attend the fire, one holding a lit lamp. Behind them are large decorated deity murtis with white floral arches and garlands. In the foreground a gold-trimmed red throne-like seat and a brass kalasha sit beside a small brass vessel. Camera operators stand at the right edge.
