A photograph of an indoor darshan moment. A man in long-haired orange-and-saffron robes with dark, swept-back hair sits on a white-cushioned bed and presses a small gold-colored object to the forehead of a young man in white kurta with an orange scarf, whose hands are joined in namaskar and eyes closed. The seated figure wears an orange cloth over the shoulders and a checked wrap over the lap. Behind them a woman in an orange shawl smiles. Dark blue drapery hangs behind, with ornate brass lamps on the upper right. Two physical people are clearly visible in the foreground, with a third partially visible in the background. A photograph of a seated figure in an orange saffron shawl and checked cloth over the lap, reclining against white pillows in front of a dark blue draped backdrop. The figure has long, swept-back dark hair and is extending one arm forward, touching a small golden object or sacred substance to the forehead of a man in a white kurta-style shirt with a dark rudraksha mala. The man stands with eyes closed and palms open. Behind them on the left a woman in white with a mala stands at the edge of the frame, and above the backdrop hang ornate brass lamp fixtures with oil lamp cups. The figure's face is partly turned away and only partially visible, so the identity claim relies on the page and appearance cues are limited to the orange shawl, long hair and mala-like adornment; the image shows a blessing or touch on the forehead, possibly a darshan or aarti exchange.
