Street photo in a narrow lane of Varanasi with a weathered temple shikhara visible behind buildings. In the foreground a man with long dark swept-back hair, a red tilak, a thick marigold garland and an orange-red robe walks holding a tall staff, smiling. Beside him a shaved-headed man in white dhoti and kurta with a purple-edged shawl and lanyard walks, carrying a black bag. Behind them a crowd of pilgrims, a woman in a green and yellow sari, and shopkeepers in front of a stall selling snacks. Bicycles line the left edge.

A smiling man with long dark hair wears an orange saffron robe and a large marigold garland with red flowers and a clear crystal mala around his neck, and he holds a tall staff in his right hand while walking down a narrow street. Beside him a bearded man in white shirt and dhoti with a red lanyard and ID badge laughs with his hands pressed to his chest. Behind them stands a white-clad attendant with a staff, and a crowd of people is visible. Street signs include a blue Shankeri Tourist Lodge sign and a Brahman Mandal sign, and an iron shutter door with a poster on the wall.

A photograph of a street procession in a village lined with white houses with blue emblems and small orange flags. In the centre, a man in an orange saffron cloth with an orange turban and a long white and red flower garland walks beside a rudraksha mala. He has long dark hair and a gold-coloured bracelet is visible on the left-side figure. Beside him, a long-haired man in orange robes with a gold bracelet and wristwatch talks with a white-clad man in a white shirt and white dhoti with an orange shawl. Behind them, a crowd of villagers in white, orange and sari clothing walks, including older women in saris with folded hands and an older man in white on the left.

A blurred photo taken from behind in a narrow urban lane with red-painted walls. A figure with long dark hair wears an orange top and orange wrap, with a garland of orange and yellow marigolds draped over the shoulders, and carries a long thin rod in the right hand. Around the figure, several men walk along the lane: one in a white turban and olive-green jacket, another in a yellow turban and dark clothing, and a person in white head covering to the right.

A figure with long dark hair wearing an orange-saffron robe and a large orange and yellow marigold garland walks away from the camera down a narrow alley lined with pale blue and white walls and stone steps. He holds a white walking stick in one hand and wears dark sandals. Other people walk behind and beside him, and a seated person in a khaki-green wrap sits to the right against a wall. The image is blurred with motion. Partially visible people appear at the edges.

Photograph of a narrow lane in Varanasi with weathered pale walls and a green shuttered window. A figure seen from behind wears an orange sweater and orange dhoti-style cloth, with a large marigold and white flower garland around the shoulders, and carries a thin metal rod. Beside and behind them walk two older women wrapped in brown and grey shawls, one with a red bindi-like mark on the forehead, and a man in a grey cap and brown wrap further back.
