October 12 20212021-10-12A photograph of a hand holding a polished metal kamandalu-style vessel with an elephant-headed spout, pouring a thin stream of liquid downward, as part of an abhishekam or homa offering. The forearm wears a rudraksha mala and a yellow thread band, and the hand is stained with red-orange kumkum. The background is a warm golden blur of bokeh lights and smoke. A small floral offering with red and white flowers rests at lower left. Bottom caption reads Nithyanandeshwara Paramashiva Devalayam, Adi KAILASA, Navaratri 2021, Day 3, Chandi Homa Purnahuti. Only a partial figure is visible at upper left, so one person is present.2021-10-09October 13 20212021-10-13October 13 20212021-10-13Close photograph of a hand holding an ornate silver oil lamp with a long handle, its spout shaped like an elephant head and a flower-patterned square base; hot oil drips from the spout. Blurred background shows a figure in a dark maroon garment and a warm-lit temple setting. A sliver of an orange-and-gold garment appears at the right edge. No face of the blurred figure is clearly visible, and no identification is made.2011-12-20December 08 20112011-12-08January 08 20122012-01-08December 08 20112011-12-08March 02 20212021-03-02Close-up photo of a silver-toned ritual vessel with an elephant-head spout pouring a stream of golden liquid.
