A seated figure with long dark hair, a beard, and a rust-brown robe with an orange shawl sits on a red-cushioned throne, smiling and raising a hand in blessing. A man in a white shirt and jeans bows low before him, placing his head near the seated figure's feet. Beside the throne, an ornate silver stand holds folded orange cloth. Around them, several men in white dhotis and orange shawls stand with hands folded, and a woman in a rust-coloured sari with a rudraksha mala watches. On the left, a bare-chested priest with white sacred markings stands. Ceremonial silver objects and a silver staff are visible in the foreground. Framed devotional pictures hang on the wall behind. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure is shown with long swept-back hair, a rudraksha mala and an orange shawl on a throne.2017-09-24September 24 20172017-09-24December 29 20102010-12-29September 24 20172017-09-24A photograph of a home-visit or pada pooja moment indoors. A seated figure in saffron-orange cloth with a white flower garland and long dark hair sits on a white-draped chair, extending his bare feet while a devotee kneels and bows to touch them. Two women in white and blue saris press their palms together nearby, and a man in white shirt and dark mala beads stands behind with one hand raised. A tall man in white with an orange shawl and mala stands at the back. Through a window, a crowd of onlookers is visible, with a microphone on a stand. Pink drapery hangs on the wall.2009-08-11March 18 20142014-03-18A photograph of a ceremonial gathering in a hall with a white tent canopy, maroon drapes and a projection screen. In the centre, a man in a saffron-orange robe with a long dark rudraksha mala holds a small wooden-lidded box and blesses a bowing devotee by placing a hand on his head. Nearby, a bald sannyasi in orange robes stands at right, and a man in white dhoti-style clothing stands at far right. A man in a pale yellow-striped shirt bends forward with hands joined in namaste. Several other people in white ritual clothes stand in the background, with a golden throne-like seat visible beside the dais. The central figure's distinctive hair and rudraksha adornment are visible, but his identity is not established beyond appearance.2010-10-19April 27 20162016-04-27June 28 20142014-06-28 +1 copies
