Black Shivalingas stand on the steps with brass vessels and small brass pots set before them. Men sit bare-chested in white dhotis wearing red-and-cream rudraksha malas and white sacred ash lines on their bodies; one man in the centre holds his hands together in mudra. Women in saris and a seated woman in a pink top and cream shawl appear at the left edge. Many others sit further back along the steps. The ritual is mostly in the foreground and middle ground.2016-12-17A photograph of many men seated on red-painted stone steps in rows, each beside a black stone shivalingam with brass vessels and small puja offerings. Most are bare-chested or wear white dhotis with yellow borders, many with rudraksha malas, sacred ash marks and sandalwood or ash on their bodies. A man in a white dhoti stands at left pouring or arranging items near the lingams, and devotees around the steps are seated in meditative or prayerful postures. Red flags fly in the background among trees. Several figures appear as a group ritual such as abhishekam or a shivalinga puja, with no visible figure presented as a distinctive central presence.2017-07-24December 02 20162016-12-02December 19 20162016-12-19December 19 20162016-12-19December 03 20162016-12-03August 07 20172017-08-07December 19 20162016-12-19
