Hands of several people hold a steel bowl over a large metal plate containing milk, yellow turmeric-tinted liquid and a dark cylindrical object, apparently a worship offering. A man in white dhoti with a gold wristwatch sits at left, a woman in a light green top and gold bangles pours or holds the vessel, and another person's hand wears a gold bangle at top. A red-and-gold cloth covers the seat behind, with a white and red flower garland at upper right. On the right, a small steel plate holds white granules and a second brass cup holds amber liquid, beside a striped woven mat. The visible hands suggest abhishekam offerings.2014-07-01November 06 20142014-11-06July 10 20142014-07-10 +1 copiesJune 24 20142014-06-24June 27 20142014-06-27September 19 20112011-09-19March 07 20162016-03-07A photograph of a padapuja ritual in a room with a silver pillar. A seated figure in orange robes has bare feet placed on a large steel plate of milk and offerings, with yellow fruit or flowers and a dark leaf. A young priest in a maroon and gold-bordered shawl with a rudraksha mala pours liquid from a small steel cup over the feet. Beside him, a woman in a red-and-cream sari with a red blouse and gold earrings kneels and touches the feet with her hand. Other devotees, including a child, are seated and standing in the background. The scene is a devotional foot-washing ritual.2014-06-24July 04 20142014-07-04 +1 copiesJuly 02 20142014-07-02 +1 copies
