A dense outdoor crowd on dry, sandy ground beside a river under a clear blue sky. A bearded man in an orange-saffron robe and a long orange wrap stands near the centre-left, with a long-haired man in white shirt and dhoti beside him. A large multicoloured ceremonial umbrella with tasselled edges and gold trim is held up on the right, with a second umbrella behind it. Men in white shirts and dhotis, a man in a yellow shirt, and a young man in a light blue shirt holding a video camera press around the group, with several photographers and a cameraman with a camera on his shoulder. Small white structures and trees appear on the far bank.

Outdoor procession on dusty ground under a clear sky with palms and scrub behind. A figure in an orange-red sanyasi robe and bright orange-red headwrap wears a long white flower garland and walks beside a long-handled umbrella. Around them, men in white shirts and white dhotis, some wearing lanyard badges, walk alongside. A man at left has a bare torso and orange cloth, another in a white kurta holds a bead mala, and a man in grey striped shirt walks at right. Striped and multicoloured umbrellas with blue and orange panels and a bird emblem are raised overhead, with tasselled fringes visible at top right.

Outdoor photo on a riverbank of a crowd gathered around a bearded man with long dark hair tied in a knot, wearing saffron-orange robes and a rudraksha mala, walking near the water. A colourful ceremonial parasol with red, green and yellow panels and tassels is held above the group. Many saffron-clad sadhus with shaved heads and orange shawls surround him, along with men in white and yellow shawls and forehead tilaka. A hazy river and tree line stretch behind the crowd, and a photographer's flash unit is visible at lower right.

Outdoor procession on dry, sandy ground under a clear blue sky. A central man in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, wearing a long gold-toned bead necklace and a large gold pendant, walks forward smiling with long dark hair, while a red-and-tassel umbrella and a multicoloured umbrella with a bird emblem shade the group. Around him, men in white shirts and white dhotis, a man in a saffron shawl, and a woman in a pink sari walk closely together, with more umbrellas and people behind. Tall dry grass and trees appear in the background. Bodies are numerous and tightly packed, so the count is above twenty-one.

Outdoor procession at a festival on a dry, sunny day under a clear blue sky. Two red umbrellas with fringed tassels are held over a crowd. In the centre, a man in an orange turban, saffron robe and long gold-toned bead necklace walks beside a man in a saffron-orange shawl draped over his head and shoulders, who is speaking. Men in white dhotis and kurtas, a uniformed police officer at left, and a man in sunglasses surround them. A blue-and-white striped tent stands at right, and trident-like poles are visible in the background. Whether the saffron-clad central figure is a person cannot be established from appearance alone.

Two large colourful ceremonial umbrellas with fringed edges and blue, orange and green panels are held aloft on poles. In the foreground a bald man in an orange robe with a draped orange shawl is surrounded by men in saffron and orange clothing. Behind him a man with long dark hair, orange robe and a long beaded necklace stands near a man with a shaved head in orange wearing red tilak marks. Many spectators in white shirts and dhotis press around them, and bright yellow marigold garlands are visible at the right edge. Trees and water are visible in the background under a clear sky.

A procession on dry, straw-strewn ground under a bright sky with palm trees behind. Several men in white shirts and white dhotis walk in a line, many holding hands, with multicoloured umbrellas with fringed edges raised above the group. At the centre, a man in a saffron-orange garment and red-orange turban walks with a garland around his neck. Beside him, a bare-chested man wears an orange dhoti and a rudraksha-style bead necklace. Other men wear white shirts and lanyard identification cards. The umbrellas and clothing dominate the colour palette.

A crowded outdoor procession near a temple. At centre, a long-haired man in an orange saffron robe, orange turban and a dark rudraksha mala waves his right hand to the crowd. Two orange-robed attendants walk nearby. Men in white shirts and dark trousers press around him, and one holds his arm. Two large umbrellas with orange, green and yellow panels and blue Dhyanapeetha emblems with tasseled fringes shade the procession. Behind, a crowd of onlookers in colourful clothes stands on steps before a small temple shrine with a white spire under a cloudy sky.
