December 30 20162016-12-30Outdoor ceremonial procession on a dusty sandy ground in front of a red-walled building with a green metal roof and a temple-style spire behind. At left, several bare-chested young men with long braided hair wear orange and saffron dhotis with gold borders, carrying a large multicoloured ceremonial umbrella on a tall pole and a flower-decorated bundle. At centre, a man in a white dhoti and white shawl walks beside a man in a long-sleeved orange jacket and rust-coloured dhoti whose long dark hair is swept back and who has a white-painted forehead; he holds a plain orange umbrella overhead. Two women in rust and orange saris walk at right. Several onlookers stand in the background near white tents and parked cars. The orange-clad figure in the centre fits the appearance cues of a person, walking in the procession, though identity is uncertain from appearance alone.2016-12-30December 30 20172017-12-30March 11 20172017-03-11 +1 copiesDecember 30 20172017-12-30December 23 20082008-12-23December 31 20172017-12-31December 30 20162016-12-30Outdoor procession on bare dry ground beside a corrugated metal fence and water tanks, with trees behind. A large gold and red ornate parasol with tassels is held over a central figure. Around him, several shaved-headed men in saffron and orange robes with rudraksha and bead necklaces stand close together, one holding a folded orange cloth. On the right, men in white dhotis with gold borders and bare torsos, some wearing garlands, stand near a drummer playing a drum with red and gold trim.2016-04-26December 31 20172017-12-31May 26 20172017-05-26March 11 20172017-03-11 +1 copies
