Several men and women in white dhotis and white shirts stand with their backs to the camera, gathered around a construction area with steel rebar grids and a pile of dirt at left. Night photograph of a small outdoor fire ritual on a dirt ground. A low brick fire pit with a small flame sits in the foreground, surrounded by stacked red bricks. A woman in a long-sleeved orange top and grey trousers, with a pink bag over her shoulder, leans over the fire pit tending it. Around her, several people in white robes and white kurtas stand or kneel, one in a white shawl with an orange scarf, and another kneeling in white holding a small object. Smoke hangs in the dark background, with a faint light at the left edge.

Night-time photo at an outdoor site beside a grey concrete wall, with large dark stone slabs tilted in soil. Several people in orange and saffron clothing, some with long braided hair, stand around a freshly dug pit. A man in a white shirt and white dhoti with an orange-bordered cloth bends toward the excavation, while a bare-chested man in a rust-coloured wrap stands behind him. A woman in orange holds a mobile phone and another woman in orange reaches toward the pit. A figure in a pale blue shirt stands at the left edge, and a faint red painted mark is visible on a stone at right.

Night photograph of a dusty construction-site path lit by a bright torch or lamp in the foreground. Several people walk toward the camera: on the left, two figures in orange and red-orange robes with head coverings; in the centre, a man in a white kurta and white trousers, and beside him a man in a dark shirt with a reddish shawl over his shoulder. Behind them are rough concrete structures and stacked dark materials on the right.

Night procession on bare red earth at a construction site, with concrete pillars and iron rebar stubs in the foreground and a pile of rubble behind. A group of people in white dhotis and white clothing, many with orange-saffron shawls over the shoulder, walks across the ground. A central figure in an orange-saffron robe walks with a brass kalasha or vessel held on a red cloth, and another man in white with an orange shawl carries an item. A larger line of white-clad and saffron-clad participants follows in the background under a single bright light. Dark trees line the far edge of the site.

Wide evening photograph of a large procession moving across a dusty, excavated construction site toward a concrete building with a corrugated roof. Dozens of people in white clothing walk in a crowd, with some in orange or saffron garments among them. Several figures near the centre carry ornate, flower-decorated items and lit lamps. Bare earth, rubble and mounds of soil fill the foreground under a hazy sky with a line of trees on the horizon.
