A street procession moves forward under a hazy sky, with devotees carrying tall red and maroon flags on long poles. Many umbrellas, including a purple one with fringe, a red one with gold trim and several white canopies, shade the marchers. A central man in a white kurta and white trousers, barefoot, holds a red flag high. Women in white and cream saris with orange and maroon borders walk alongside, some wearing garlands and rudraksha-style beads. Men in white dhotis and bare-chested devotees follow in the crowd. Scattered orange flower petals lie on the road. The scene suggests a ritual yatra or procession.2015-09-15September 13 20152015-09-13 +1 copiesA procession on a paved road at an outdoor event.
