A seated figure in a red-orange turban with a small white floral ornament and a layered gold necklace with rudraksha beads and gold pendants rests a hand on the head of an older grey-haired man in a white dhoti with gold border, who kneels before him. Beside them a younger man with long dark hair, a rudraksha mala and a white and gold-bordered cloth sits in profile. Behind them stands a large gold-leaf throne with lion-head armrest and a silver staff, against a deep red curtain and gold carved panels. The scene appears to be a blessing given to a devotee on a throne in a ritual setting. +1 copiesJanuary 20 20162016-01-20Photograph inside a temple hall with pillars and a bright arched doorway behind. He has a vibhuti or tilak mark on his forehead and dark swept-back hair. Devotees bend forward to touch his feet and hands. Nearby stand a man in white with a rudraksha mala, another in a white shirt, a man in an orange and red shawl, and women in a patterned sari and a yellow-and-red printed sari. Right of the throne is a gold kalasha-style standard and a small brass oil lamp. The setting suggests a darshan with a seated spiritual teacher receiving devotees.2016-05-25February 09 20122012-02-09May 25 20162016-05-25November `4 2015 +1 copiesIndoor photo of a bearded man in a gold-yellow turban with a red ornament and peacock-feather motif, wearing a red and gold brocade garment and several beaded and gold necklaces, standing at right.
