Outdoor photo in a village street under a misty, overcast sky with palm trees behind. A figure seated on the ground at the center wears a bright orange cap, long dark wavy hair and orange robes, with their back to the camera. A crowd of men in white shirts and white dhotis surrounds them; one in a white dhoti and shirt has his palms pressed together in greeting, and another holds out a small object. Two saffron-robed men stand at the left and right edges, one wearing a rudraksha mala and gold armband, the other holding a phone to his ear. In the foreground a wooden box with compartments holds small papers or cards. Striped multicoloured tent canopy and orange flags appear in the background.2012-01-03January 03 20122012-01-03July 28 20082008-07-28A photograph of a crowd gathered outdoors beneath a thatched palm-leaf roof beside a grey car. A central figure with long dark hair, a red bindi and a saffron-orange shawl over a red top stands among the group, gesturing with an open hand toward the people around. Surrounding them are men in white shirts and dhotis, one with folded hands in namaste, a woman in a red sari at the back, and an older bearded man in white.2009-08-08September 18 20062006-09-18January 03 20122012-01-03November 23 20062006-11-23Outdoor photo on a dusty dirt ground with trees and a bush behind a wire fence. A central figure in a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, with long swept-back hair, rudraksha mala beads and bangles, walks barefoot and looks ahead; the appearance cues are distinctive, so this is a probable Swamiji (probable) figure in procession. Beside him a man in a white dhoti holds a tray of yellow flowers, and a woman in a blue sari carries a bag. Other devotees in white dhotis, shirts and a red-shirted boy stand around with hands folded, and a stone-coloured jacketed man stands at left. Several people are visible, roughly a dozen.2011-12-09A photograph of an outdoor relief camp under striped tarpaulin canopies on sandy ground. A seated figure in saffron-orange robes and an orange cloth head covering sits on a plastic chair, long dark hair falling behind, gesturing with raised hands toward a line of men. Several men stand in front, one in a white shirt with palms pressed together in namaste and others in white dhotis, a man in a saffron cloth, and a bare-chested man wearing a rudraksha mala. Behind them are large cooking pots, gas cylinders and metal vessels. A man in a striped blue shirt stands at left.2012-01-03August 11 20092009-08-11November 23 20062006-11-23January 04 20122012-01-04
