It holds a drum-like instrument and a striped object in raised hands, with scattered pink petals on the floor. The scene is a shrine display; no physical people are visible. The page-linked a person reference is not visibly supported, as the statue is a sculpted image of a deity rather than a person present.2017-10-12A dark stone statue of a seated sage, carved with a serene face and a small red tilak on the forehead, wears a red-orange turban and draped red-orange robe with gold-edged border. Multiple strands of rudraksha beads, some with gold-toned beads, hang across the chest and neck. Garlands of red roses and yellow and purple flowers frame the figure against a green and gold shimmering cloth backdrop. The raised right hand is in a blessing gesture, and the left hand holds a staff or rod, with a small purple flower resting near the lap.
