He has a horizontal white vibhuti mark on his forehead and a black cord around his neck, and gold bangles on his wrist. In front of him is a wooden stand with a gold pedestal and a tiered brass sri yantra-style base, with fresh fruit (apples, bananas, oranges), pink and white flowers and silver bowls as offerings. Behind is a gold-framed altar with a red silk backdrop, garlands of multicoloured flowers and a gold-decorated deity murti area. The scene appears to be a puja or abhishekam offering in a Hindu temple setting.2008-10-23April 20 20112011-04-20Photo 99201962022-09-28 +1 copiesIndoor temple-style ceremony on a white tiled floor before a maroon velvet drape. Three deity murtis sit on a central golden peetha draped in garlands of red, yellow and white flowers, with fruit offerings and plates of food spread on the floor before them. To the right stands another garlanded murti on a golden seat, and a further golden throne with flower garlands is empty. Brass pots and a flower-decorated altar complete the setting.2013-12-26KAILASA in SanJose on 4/22/20192019-04-22 +3 copiesKAILASA SAN JOSE, USA on 9/28/20222022-09-28 +1 copiesApril 20 20112011-04-20October 14 20132013-10-14Photo inside a temple hall during Navaratri puja. A shaved-headed priest with bare chest, white dhoti and a reddish cloth wrap stands at left, extending his arm toward a tall brass lamp stand with flames while smoke rises. Centre-right, a seated statue in a red-and-white robe and a pink turban sits on a chair garlanded with orange and white flowers; it is a statue, not a living person. Behind, a large deity murti with a crown and jewelled ornaments is decorated with red and white garlands under a gold arch. Yellow cloth covers the altar, with bowls of fruit, bananas, pineapple, flowers, brass vessels and a red-cloth-covered tray in front.
