A photograph of a smiling man seated before an ornate gold-embossed backdrop with swirling floral and scrolling relief patterns. He wears an orange-saffron shawl draped over a red sleeveless top and a small red bindi on his forehead, and he gazes upward to the right. Beneath him is a red fabric cushion with a tiger-stripe pattern. The page excerpt references Kalpataru darshan. Appearance alone is not sufficient to identify him, and the page does not state he is present, so his identity is not established.

A seated man in a red-maroon robe with an orange shawl sits on an ornate gold throne with intricate repoussé carving and a circular halo-like backrest. He wears a long necklace of gold beads and an orange garland, gold armlets on both upper arms, gold earrings, and a white vertical tilak with a red dot on the forehead. His long dark hair is swept back. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure has long swept-back hair, ceremonial gold necklaces and orange-saffron clothing, consistent with the page's reference to Swamiji. Behind the throne, brass bells hang at the top corners.
