A photograph of a dusty open construction site with a large pile of grey gravel and stacked stone blocks. A group of about a dozen people, mostly in casual clothes such as dark kurtas, jeans, a blue and white patterned salwar, and bright yellow and orange tops, walk across the sand in the foreground. A small child in an orange top and yellow trousers bends forward near the center. Behind them stands a long white building with an orange tiled roof and a green metal-roofed structure on the right, under a hazy sky with trees.2008-04-04April 04 20082008-04-04Outdoor photo of a dusty, unfinished grounds area with a low grey concrete-block wall running along the back, palm trees and a few young trees. A line of people walks along a paved path toward the left: several women in white or pale saris and salwar, a girl in a white top with an orange shawl, a boy in a dark blue shirt and khaki shorts, a man in a plaid shirt and tan shorts, and children in red, yellow and orange shirts. Some people walk barefoot. A man in a dark shirt and white dhoti stands near white pillars at left. Concrete posts and red-painted markers line the path, with a sign board at right.2008-04-04A photograph of a dusty construction site under a clear blue sky, with a procession of devotees walking along a dirt track. Most walkers wear white traditional clothing, including white dhotis and white saris, with a few women in colourful saris of teal, pink and yellow. A small child in a light blue shirt walks in the foreground, and a yellow truck is parked at right beside unfinished concrete block buildings and a low white building with a water tank. Palm and other trees line the background. The walkers appear to number roughly two dozen, with the group spread across the path. No identifiable a person figure is visible in the frame.2006-12-28A daytime outdoor photo of a dusty compound with a grey concrete-block boundary wall topped by a line of palm trees and a white multi-storey building in the background. A crowd of people walks along a sandy path in front of the wall, many in mixed everyday clothing: a woman in a white salwar with an orange dupatta at the lower left, a girl in pink, children in yellow, orange and blue shirts, and a man in a checked shirt. Red and white bollards line the path. No clearly identifiable a person figure is visible.2008-04-04Outdoor photo of a large crowd of women and some men walking across a dry, dusty construction site with piles of rubble and loose stones. Most women wear white saris with coloured borders in orange, blue, pink and green, and some carry small items or a child. Several figures in the foreground carry or sort stones and sand at left. Trees, bare ground, a fence and utility poles stand under a pale sky. No swami figure is clearly visible; the scene reads as a community work or devotee gathering at the ashram grounds.2008-06-20A photograph of a dusty unpaved road in front of a long, low, single-storey cream building with a terracotta tiled roof and covered veranda. Several people walk or stand on the red-brown dirt: a woman in a light cream sari with a floral print walks forward in the centre, a woman in a blue salwar and a woman in a green sari walk to the left, and a man in a white shirt stands at right in dark trousers. On the veranda, people in white clothing stand and sit near a table with white cloth, and a few people wear white dhotis. Scattered trees, a partly built concrete structure and an overcast sky appear in the background.2007-07-29April 07 20082008-04-07A photograph of a group of devotees walking in a procession along an unpaved dirt path past unfinished concrete-block buildings and a gravel heap. Men in white or checked shirts and trousers lead, followed by women in saris and salwar kameez in pink, green, blue, red and white, many with heads covered by dupattas or shawls. A young woman in a white dress carries a cardboard box, and a few children walk among them. A woman in a blue sari stands on a rise at the upper right, and an unpaved path curves through the scene at sunrise.2006-12-25Outdoor photograph of an open dirt courtyard at an ashram-style compound, lined with coconut palms and a grey block wall. Many people in white clothing move about, several women in saris, some holding umbrellas. A foreground man in white with an orange shawl looks down, and a few children stand near a flowerbed. Parked cars and a yellow auto-rickshaw sit at the back, with a white wall on the left.2008-03-22A photograph of a large group of children and young people spread across a dry, dusty open ground at a rural site, with scattered trees, low buildings and a red-roofed shed at the edges. Many are in mixed everyday clothing: a girl in a lavender top, a boy in a pink shirt and dark trousers, a girl in a red skirt, and others in white, yellow, blue and orange. Some stand in loose rows and others walk across the open ground in a gathering. Overcast sky above. No identifiable a person figure is visible.2006-05-05A photograph of an outdoor construction site at an ashram, with excavated reddish-brown earth, a large mound of sand, and a rectangular concrete-walled pit with standing water on the left. Stacks of dressed grey stone blocks lie on the right. Dozens of people in white clothing line the far edge of the excavation and stand on the dirt, while a few women in white saris and one woman in an orange-and-yellow sari work near the pit's edge. Trees and a few white-roofed structures appear in the background under a partly cloudy sky.2008-06-20
