Black and white portrait of a smiling man with a full beard and a tall, swept-up dark turban-style headwear bearing a small Shiva linga emblem and a band of beaded trim. A vertical tilak mark sits on his forehead. He wears layered rudraksha-style beaded malas and an ornate gold ceremonial necklace, with a shawl draped over bare shoulders. His right hand is raised in a blessing gesture, and a crescent moon hangs in the pale sky behind him. Printed copyright text and a source credit appear on the lower right. a person is the label for this appearance-based identification, shown as a printed portrait rather than a physical person.2019-10-30A monochrome graphite pencil drawing on white paper, placed on a wooden surface, showing a bearded man in a three-quarter view, smiling broadly. He wears a large pleated turban with ornate embroidered band and a crescent ornament with beaded decoration on top, a vertical tilak on his forehead, and a long braid of hair falling behind his ear with an earring. Shading is detailed and realistic. Appearance cues include the turban, crescent ornament, and ornate attire, but no printed name or caption is visible, so the subject is described by role as a drawn portrait figure, and the identity is unsure.2017-01-26September 18 20172017-09-18November 17 20192019-11-17April 07 20182018-04-07 +1 copiesMay 04 20192019-05-04 +1 copiesA seated man in an orange-saffron robe with silver-edged borders sits cross-legged on a leopard-print and tiger-striped seat in front of a fiery red and orange backdrop.
